Committee Structure
CID has no standing committees. Committees are formed on an ad hoc basis.
Criteria for Membership in CID:
- Any organization, agency or project that supports the mission statement is eligible to join
- Each organization should be represented by someone with decision making authority for that organization
- Subdivisions of an organization, if representing separate interests, may belong
- Organizations should be consistently represented by the same person
- Organizations may participate at differing levels
How CID Members Participate:
- Attend monthly meetings
- Serve as host on an annual basis (See host checklist on calendar page)
- Receive and share information
- Advocate with the legislature
- Make presentations on CID issues
- Develop position statements, fact sheets, or letters on CID issues and circulate for sign on
- Mentor new groups
- Make cash contributions to CID
Spokesperson
CID members who may act as a spokesperson for CID on various issues are decided by consensus at the regular monthly CID meeting.
