CID Membership Criteria

Committee Structure

CID has no standing committees.  Committees are formed on an ad hoc basis.

Criteria for Membership in CID:

  • Any organization, agency or project that supports the mission statement is eligible to join
  • Each organization should be represented by someone with decision making authority for that organization
  • Subdivisions of an organization, if representing separate interests, may belong
  • Organizations should be consistently represented by the same person
  • Organizations may participate at differing levels

How CID Members Participate:

  • Attend monthly meetings
  • Serve as host on an annual basis (See host checklist on calendar page)
  • Receive and share information
  • Advocate with the legislature
  • Make presentations on CID issues
  • Develop position statements, fact sheets, or letters on CID issues and circulate for sign on
  • Mentor new groups
  • Make cash contributions to CID

Spokesperson

CID members who may act as a spokesperson for CID on various issues are decided by consensus at the regular monthly CID meeting.
