Student Training Information

This program represents the first cooperative program between Washington State University and the University of Idaho meeting joint objectives of community service, collaborative research, and interdisciplinary training.

Students Receive:

  • Four hours of weekly supervision (one hour individual and 3 hours of group supervision).
     
  • Large and comprehensive library of testing resources (number over 100 tests for learning disabilities, behavioral scales, objective personality assessments, IQ test, developmental screening, neuropsychological testing, computer assisted assessments, and other clinical scales).
     
  • Peer mentoring with advanced student roles in videotape review, supervisory assistance, and on site collaborations/assistance.
     
  • Diverse and challenging caseloads (usually 7 to 10 clients each – children and adolescents).
     
  • Specialty training in anxiety, autism, disruptive behavioral disorders, and parent effectiveness training.
     
  • Other training opportunities in collaboration with Utah State University LEND program.
