About Idaho Help
Family Support 360 Project
Center on Disabilities and Human Development
University of Idaho
Families that live in Idaho who experience life with a disability often have a difficult time finding and receiving the services necessary to meet their highest levels of self reliance, independence and inclusion in their home communities. Although we are rated as the 13th largest state, we are the 7th most rural state in the United States which creates challenges for families searching for information, resources and support. The Idaho Help Website is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the network of resources available to families in rural and urban areas of the state.
Our Vision for Idaho Families
Families should receive, from their communities, adequate and flexible resources and supports necessary to meet their family member’s needs.
This project is funded through a federal grand administered by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities.
