Education
Individuals must hold a degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Speech and Language Pathology, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Therapeutic Recreation from a nationally accredited university or college. Experience
Individuals applying for certification as a Developmental Specialist must be able to provide documentation of 240 hours professionally supervised experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
