IBI Instructor Information/Application

The ITC is currently accepting applications for approximately seven (7) highly qualified IBI instructors.  Instructors will be chosen based on their experience, teaching ability, recommendations, and interview.  Any certified IBI Professional who meets the qualifications below is welcome to apply.

Applications must be received by the ITC no later than midnight on September 17, 2008.  Interviews will be held in Boise, Idaho Falls, and Coeur d'Alene beginning the week of September 30, 2008.

Qualifications:

  • Must be an IBI Professional Provider in good standing (yearly training required by DHW has been maintained--must show proof)
  • Must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, SLP, OT, PT, or Counseling.

Description of responsibilities:

  • Attend a mandatory training in Boise in November (To be announced)
  • Provide one (1) training per quarter to be scheduled in advance and posted on the ITC website
  • Teach the approved four-week IBI course
  • Attend mandatory trainings (on-site and webinars) provided by the ITC throughout the year
  • Serve as a Student Project reviewer

Application Process:

  • Complete application
  • Participate in panel interview (The interview will include a question and answer component and each applicant will be required to teach a portion of a pre-determined IBI curriculum standard to the panel).
